This was a "conspiracy theory" four days ago, when I was attacked widely
for citing background reports from people plugged into politics in Iraq
and elsewhere noting that some elites in the region believed that Saudi
Arabia and the Emirates were funding or getting aid via Syria to ISIS.
And now here we have VP Biden confirming that…in a speech at Harvard.
And read carefully: his team is not retracting it. It is 'impolitic'
that he said it out loud but they are
not denying it. This is a very important article. Something can be a
real threat, a terrible threat, and help a geopolitical agenda at the
same time. It sucks -- but at the same time ls useful to say Lockheed
Martin's 85% growth in new orders (LM in turn funds US presidential
runs) -- to have this terrible really terrible yet also really lucrative
threat…will I get an apology from the SMH? (Just kidding, I know I
