Urgent need for protection of civilians in Iraq
Panic has taken hold in north-western Iraq as
tens of thousands of people flee areas where Islamic State (IS)
militants are continuing their advance. Action MUST be taken to protect
civilians and ensure humanitarian assistance is provided to those
displaced by the conflict.
