Brother and sister slain at checkpoint were executed, Palestinians say | The Electronic Intifada
Israeli forces killed a young pregnant woman and her 16-year-old brother
at a military checkpoint on Wednesday and denied emergency medics
access to the siblings. Witnesses said they took a path intended for
vehicles, not pedestrians, into Qalandiya checkpoint near Ramallah. The
two were apparently unable to understand Israeli officers yelling in
Hebrew, and stopped walking and that's when they were shot dead.
