An increasing number German TTIP negative
In ARD Germany Trend said 70 percent of respondents said they saw the FTA TTIP negative.
Since the last survey in 2014, the rejection has risen sharply.
The majority of Germans regarded the planned FTA TTIP between the EU and the US, according to a survey negative. In ARD Germany Trend said 70 percent of respondents, the agreement will bring to Germany mostly disadvantages. Only 17 percent felt the benefits of TTIP would outweigh, 13 percent reported from any assessment.
In the survey, four out of five (79 percent) gave respondents said they are worried TTIP could weaken consumer protection in Germany. Similarly, many felt the secrecy of the negotiations between Brussels and Washington was the wrong approach.

The reservations about the proposed transatlantic free trade agreements have increased significantly over the past two years. Yet 2014 saw loud Germany Trend 55 percent mainly disadvantages. For almost a third of respondents at that time outweighed even the positive aspects.
