Last week, a draft of the Israeli State Comptroller's report on
Operation Protective Edge was released revealing what we already knew
about the last round in Gaza - that no one has taken responsibility for its deadly and destructive consequences.
Not one of the decision makers that gave the orders to conduct the
operation in Gaza or formed the IDF's strategy and policy is willing to
take responsibility. Not one.
We continue to demand a State
Commission of Inquiry that will investigate the people who are truly
accountable - the political echelon, the decision makers and the policy
shapers. It is our obligation as citizens to demand to know what really
went on there, in our name.
