Breaking the Silence › Testimony - Can no longer tell good from bad
Today
we mark Universal Children's Day. This is what reality for a
Palestinian child without rights looks like, and this is what our
reality looks like as soldiers who were sent to the occupied
territories, who were children too until not long ago:
"We were
nearby but did nothing. We were sort of indifferent, you know. Well, you
only get to thinking about this later, not ahead of it. This was
happening every day. These were the little things. And then it becomes a
kind of habit. Patrols with beatings happened on a daily basis."
