Germany: Riot police and protesters clash big in Hamburg - YouTube:

Clashes broke out between police and left-wing protesters in the Hamburg suburb of Altona on Saturday. Thousands of protesters fought with police, who attempted to block roads and prevent the demonstrators from getting past.

Bricks, bottles and petrol bombs were launched at police, who responded with water cannon.

The situation is expected to get more violent as the day progresses.

The protesters are demonstrating against the possible eviction of the Rote Flora squat, and are calling for the protection of public space and refugee rights. About 4,000 police have been deployed throughout Hamburg.

What follows is really incredible: At a time where the general situation was relatively calm, is approaching suddenly from the right, a police squad that then all of a sudden starts out of the blue, zuzurasen on the demonstrators - probably one learns something in the police academy. In this video clearly seen again that the subsequent throwing objects, etc. clearly was a response to the violent crackdown of the police on the police. Why was such a thing from the police needed?
