Egypt: End military trial of journalists | Amnesty International
"The Egyptian authorities must release these journalists immediately and
unconditionally, and drop all charges against them. Journalism is not a
crime, and civilians, including journalists, should never face trial in
military courts,” said Philip Luther, Middle East and North Africa
Programme Director at Amnesty International

The journalists are charged with obtaining classified military
information – including interviews with Defence Minister Abdel Fattah Al
Sisi.
