At
the start of September we wrote about The Samaria Settlers' Committee's
demands for segregation of buses that drive through the settlements in
the Occupied Territories.
Now our Minister of Defence has caved in
(yet again) to the settlers' demands and banned Palestinian workers from
riding on public buses within the West Bank.
So on top of our
regular missions that include separating populations in Hebron, ensuring
roads are "sterile", and securing roads for "Israelis only" - we now
have a new mission: separating Israelis and Palestinians who use public
transportation in the West Bank.
