Pentagon: Total Cost of US Operations Against Daesh Reaches $7Bln
The cost of
operations against Daesh in Iraq and Syria has reached $7 billion,
according to an update at the US Department of Defense website on
Thursday.
WASHINGTON(Sputnik) — Some 70 percent of the funds have been spend on the US Air
Force operations, while the US Army and Navy received 13 and 11 percent
accordingly. The United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM)
received about 8 percent of the funding, according to the Pentagon.
