The United States is not going to launch a preemptive attack on North
Korea. The risks far outweigh the rewards and, besides, the US has no
intention of getting bogged down in a conflict that doesn’t advance its
geopolitical objectives. The saber-rattling is just an attempt to divert
attention from the Syria-Jordan border where the US and Jordan are
massing troops and equipment for an invasion of Syria. That’s what’s
really going on. The Korean fiasco is a smokescreen.
