DER SPIEGEL: "In Spain, the national state is dying. Even if it was to
be kept alive by force - its spirit would die anyways. Europe should
look closely. Germany should look closely too. It may be that in Spain a
process is starting now which one day will encompass the whole
continent: the end of the national state, the renaissance of the region,
the birth of a new Europe. And when that was the case, then let it that
be!!! The nations should live - but the national states but the nation
states should die! We do not need them anymore!!!
