La esclavitud laboral y sexual se cobra 20.000 secuestros al año en México | La Marea:


 Labor and sexual slavery is charged annually 20,000 kidnappings in Mexico

 

ELIZABETH VELASCO / / According to the International Organization for Migration, every year 20 000 people are kidnapped in Mexico for purposes of labor and sexual exploitation, with girls and women 80 percent of the victims. Gretchen Kuhner reported above, coordinator of the Institute for Women in Migration, Monica Salazar, the Collective Against Trafficking in Mexico, Aida Diaz, of the Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking (CAST its acronym in English), and Antonia Chavez, the Latin American Observatory on Trafficking in Persons, Chapter Mexico. At a press conference in which they presented to the Mexican and Colombian Flower Marcela Molina Loaiza, victims of trafficking for sexual and labor exploitation, respectively, the activists pointed out that the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime estimates that these events each year involving more than 4 million women and girls worldwide, which are sold with for such purposes, as well as organ trafficking or begging.
