Anger in Brazil over World Cup spending - Americas - Al Jazeera English

 

 There is outrage that Brazil is spending more than $20bn for this
summer's World Cup tournament and there have been protests in seven
cities across the country, the biggest one in Sao Paulo.
Many
of the protests have been led by youths, who say spending $4bn to build
12 new stadiums for the football event is simply too much.
Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo reports from Sao Paulo.
