More than 400 migrant workers from Nepal have died in Qatar in construction for the preparation of the World Cup of 2022, according to a recent report. 

Statistics has made Pravasi Nepali Coordination Committee, a respected human rights organization that compiles lists of the dead using official sources in Doha. Pravasi calls on the authorities of Qatar, as well as soccer's world governing body, FIFA, to tackle industrial accidents.

It is estimated that without action, the number of deaths during construction for the World could reach 4,000 in 2022. Although the body responsible for organizing the World Cup, the Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee, said six months was "deeply concerned" about the deaths do, working conditions seem to have not changed.
