Berlin Standoff: Refugees Threaten to Set Their Squat on Fire if Police Attempt Eviction
40 Berlin refugees are still on the roof of their squat. The press
has been banned, and attempts to give food to the refugees have been
blocked. The press will take action in court regarding their being
blocked from speaking to the refugees. Police claim the reason they will
not allow journalists in is that the refugees may take them hostage. #ohlauer

is a rooftop standoff ongoing in Berlin for the third day in a row, in
which the riot police have tried and failed to evict an occupied refugee
squat and school.
