As soldiers who escorted children to school, we are much too familiar
with settlers' attacks on the Palestinian population. Our role in this
context was meant to be but a temporary resolution for this recurring
phenomenon - but like many other systematic aspects of the occupation, a
temporary solution has become the status quo.
