International Forum of Muslim women discusses their human rights
The
first international forum on Muslim women was held in the Republic of
Tatarstan, home to the Russian Federations’ largest Muslim community: http://sm.ohchr.org/1t7NScq -
Participants addressed a wide range of issues relating to the enjoyment
of women’s rights in the Republic of Tatarstan and other regions of the
Federation, including the North Caucasus.
