So Germany has finally recognised the Armenian Genocide. Somewhat
ironic, some might say. After all, no country is better qualified to
talk about the organised killing of 1.5 million ethnic Armenians and
other Christian minorities than Germany.
Some of the most detailed
records of the Armenian Genocide were compiled by German military
advisors assigned to the Ottoman Empire, so Germany has always known
what transpired just over 100 years ago.
