President Trump done what even Obama, in his extreme recklessness,
would not do: he has landed US Marines on Syrian soil in a combat
mission. There is no authorization from
Congress, from the Syrian government, or from the United Nations for
such a move. In the "race for Raqqa," it seems clear the Trump
Administration intends to capture eastern Syria and partition the
country. How will the Russians react? For sure Trump's new neocon
advisors have assured him it will be a cakewalk...
