The police in the US are being trained to think they are in a
battlefield, they’re under attack, and that citizens are the enemy. They
are given military weapons to
underscore the matter. No wonder police-inflicted injuries send more
than 50,000 Americans to hospital emergency rooms every year. But
Attorney General Jeff Sessions doesn't see a problem. In fact, he's
arguing for more military weapons and training for the police. What
could go wrong?
