Hasan Safadi’s “crime” is that he spoke out and wrote against Israel’s
human rights abuses. He is a journalist and human rights defender who
has been kept in an Israeli cell for
more than a year now, even though he has not been brought to trial and
found guilty of any charges laid against him; nor has he had the chance
to defend himself.
