Llibertat Jordis! Els volem al carrer! | VilaWeb

'Two political prisoners persecuted in the 2017 Europe by an authoritarian state that has shown that he is capable of violating his law.'

Freedom Jordis! We want them to the street!
«As of that night, they, their freedom, are also an objective of our struggle»

Spain in 2017 has issued an order of imprisonment against Jordi Sànchez and Jordi Cuixart, two Catalan political and social leaders who have done nothing but to lead the great mobilizations of recent years for the independence of Catalonia. They are political prisoners. Two political prisoners persecuted in the 2017 Europe by an authoritarian state that has shown that he is able to violate his law in order to condemn them with an interlocutory that does not withstand the minimum technical analysis.

Sànchez i Cuixart are two esteemed, respected and recognized people. And they are far beyond the independentist circles, as it has been seen immediately, so it has been known that they entered prison. In them, we have seen many of us and we can see the best and best of our country. They are people who voluntarily have spent hours and hours of their lives with the sole desire to help our society to understand the great problem that we have and encourage it to solve it. They are two people with a life made, without any need to engage in politics, that have been generously placed at the service of Catalan society and the defense of their interests. Two people who have advocated the interests of all to personal interests.

They pay it expensive Today they paid too much. And that is why it is imperative that we show them our greatest and unconditional solidarity. I do it on my behalf, on behalf of the publishing company of VilaWeb and on behalf of all those who work on it. But I am sure that I also do it on behalf of all the readers of this newspaper, that we have been shaking today with indignation when we heard the news.

We want them at home and free. Strolling through our streets. We want to bring our banners with your smile. We want to receive the warmth of the people, that their work deserves. We want to hear from the microphones. We want to touch and hug you. We want to push you to keep going. We want them out of Spanish prisons.

As of this night, their freedom is also an objective of our struggle. We call you to follow the slogans of the National National Assembly and Omnium. Tomorrow at twelve noon, concentrate at the door of work. Tomorrow at eight in the evening, let's focus on candles in Barcelona, on Avinguda Diagonal - Paseo de Gracia. And we call until we have no voice: 'Liberty Jordis! We're flying to the street! '
