The Case Against Iraqing Iran

The Case Against Iraqing Iran

Opinion by David Swanson:
War supporters said the U.S. urgently needed to attack Iran in 2007. It
did not attack. The claims turned out to be lies. Even a National Intelligence Estimate in 2007 pushed back and admitted that Iran had no nuclear weapons program.

The same lies used for War on Iraq must now be revived, as for every war ever fought, for a War on Iran.

The battle for western Mosul, including the narrow alleyways of the old city, looks to be the most devastating yet for Iraqi civilians trapped between advancing troops and increasingly desperate ISIS militants.
