The basis for the claim that the Russians interfered in our elections
has always been that they hacked the DNC and through Wikileaks used the
hacked information to help get Donald
Trump elected. But this story has never really made any sense. Why hack
information showing that Hillary's team had cheated Sanders out of the
nomination and then release it too late to really do any good? Why, with
all the other damning information available out there in Hillary --
Uranium One, totally non-secure server, etc -- would the Russians have
undertaken such a risky and ultimately ineffective strategy to push the
vote in favor of Trump?
