 On January 18, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Iranian-backed militias
liberated the village of Qaytal fom Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (formerly
Jabhat al-Nusra) in southern Aleppo and almost closed the eastern Idlib
pocket.
