Israeli forces arrested 10 young Palestinians in a pre-dawn raid of the
occupied village of Nabi Saleh, including 15-year-old Mohammed Tamimi,
who was released a few hours later. The act is a common form of
collective punishment against Palestinians.

Relatives say Mohammed's injury was one of the triggers for Ahed Tamimi's outburst later that day in which she kicked and slapped two Israeli soldiers. (AP Photo/Majdi Mohammed)
