"Where
roads are made, I lose my way..." Celebrating on his birthday the life
of my favourite literary mind- Indian poet, playwright and musician
Rabindranath Tagore. As a young girl his poetry offered my heart a
refuge...my mind perceptivity...and my soul pure nourishment, helping me
to become the woman I am today. My heart aches with love for this man
and the legacy of humble and deeply profound offerings he laid down at
the feet of humanity.

This is a piece I composed last year with
Loga based on his poems. It was for my dear friend and fellow artist
Chebi Sabbah during his losing battle with cancer. The first poem became
a prayer for me when I was merely twelve years old...and today it still
reads as one."
