 Today UN Women launches the #Beijing20
campaign! This year-long campaign celebrates the 20th anniversary of
the Beijing Platform for Action, a visionary blueprint for gender
equality and women’s empowerment. The theme is “Empowering women, empowering
humanity. Picture it!” and it will feature fantastic content and
monthly social media activities, starting now with an all-day tweetathon
featuring Lean In, Half the Sky by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn,
The Global Fund for Women, Women's Media Center, the main United Nations
Twitter account and many more!
