Israel must scrap illegal land grab in the West Bank | Amnesty International
“Israel’s strategy of illegally confiscating
land for settlements in the West Bank must stop once and for all. Not
only it is illegal under international law but it is leading to a wide
range of violations of Palestinians’ human rights on a mass scale,” said
Philip Luther, Amnesty International’s Director for the Middle East and
North Africa.
Around 40 per cent of the West Bank has already been classified by Israel as “state” land.
