Kobanê and the breakdown of humanitarianism in Turkey | ROAR Magazine

When ISIS advanced towards Kobani, around 200,000 refugees fled before
them. Many crossed the border into Turkey where they have found shelter
in tent camps and at the houses of the local population. With the local
infrastructure under severe pressure and a national government that is
reluctant to help out, the future doesn't look bright for Kobani's
refugees in Turkey.

With winter approaching fast,
the Syrian refugees from Kobanê living in camps in southern Turkey are
faced with numerous hardships on a daily basis.
