Notes From The Anthropocene
We are currently living in a geological time called the Holocene.
However, there are growing calls to move us into a new epoch called the
Anthropocene, designating that human beings are now the most powerful
geological force on the planet, meaning "our measurable physical impact
on sedimentation is more powerful than the oceans’ tides or the movement
of mountains". This being the case, how should the dawning of this new
geological age influence our activism?
