Spain’s doctors foresee health risks with TTIP
Spain’s general council of associations of physicians (CGCOM) approved a
statement warning of "significant risks" that TTIP could pose to the
public health sector in Spain and throughout Europe.
According to
the statement "if health is not explicitly excluded from this agreement
three areas could be affected: public health, medicines and health
services."
CGCOM’s statement requests the Spanish Government to
ask the European Commission to explicitly exclude the health sector from
TTIP.
