Three of five senators running for WH have big backing from lobbyists
Sens. Lindsey Graham (R - S.C.), Ted Cruz (R - Texas), and Marco Rubio
(R - Fla.), three of five presidential hopefuls in the Senate, have been
generously backed by lobbyists over their careers, each raising
hundreds of thousands of dollars in contributions. By contrast, Sens.
Rand Paul (R - Ky.) and Bernie Sanders (I - Vt.), outspoken critics of
corporate influence in Washington, have not gotten the same treatment
from K St. donors.
