Why the GMO Labeling Bill Obama Just Signed Into Law Is a Sham—and a National Embarrassment
Known as the DARK
Act (Denying American's the Right to Know), the bill was signed last
Friday by President Obama. As reported by Alternet, in
addition to voiding the laws of Vermont, Connecticut, and Maine that
require GMO food to be labeled, it also nullifies the GE seed labeling
laws in Vermont and Virgina that allowed farmers to choose which seeds
they want to buy and plant.
