Why The Conflict In Syria Was Always Israel's War

 Because Israel has staked first its survival and ultimately its growth
into a dominant regional power on the disunity of its neighboring
nations, it comes as no surprise that, faced with a winding-down of the
Syrian conflict, it is now moving sharply against that development.
