Why Iranian Women Are Taking Off Their Head Scarves - The New York Times

Why Iranian Women Are Taking Off Their Head Scarves - The New York Times

A very well-written article by Nahid Siamdoust in The New York Times talking about our campaign.
New generation of #women in #Iran are continuing fight for dignity and equality. I, Masih Alinejad,
am not the first campaigner against compulsory hijab and new fighters
are emerging. As I have mentioned from the very outset of my campaign,
my goal has always been to give a voice to these Iranian women who have
been ignored by the Iranian government. I will keep on doing so through
my campaign, which has put the issue of compulsory veil on the national
and international spotlight.
