The Women's Fund of Greater Chattanooga has made incredible progress helping the Tennessee legislature pass more than 19 anti-human trafficking bills in just three years. Thanks to the efforts of these muckraking women, Tennessee now recognizes these children as victims of sexual assault who can seek restitution from their traffickers and has increased penalties for traffickers to a potential 60 years in prison.

Board members told me they learned about domestic child sex trafficking and were inspired to fight it after watching my news reports on CNN. As a journalist that is the most fulfilling thing one can hear...
