Why a Growing Number of Brazilians Won't Be Celebrating The World Cup



A collection of short films from filmmaker Carla Dauden explain why many Brazilians are unhappy that the World Cup (and Olympic Games) are being hosted in their country. Issues range from the enormous cost (estimated at more than the last 3 World Cup's combined) when essential social services remain underfunded, to forced evictions to make way for stadiums and gentrification.
