Barcelona is declared free of TTIP
Barcelona TTIP declared contrary to the controversial transatlantic free trade treaty negotiated in secret that the United States and the European Union, and thus joined the more than fifty Spanish municipalities have already declared themselves free of this agreement.
The decision was adopted today in the city of the Catalan capital by the left parties who proposed: Barcelona in common with the mayor Ada Colau to the head, Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (ERC) and the Candidacy of Popular Unity (CUP) the list of the radical pro-independence left.
PSC Socialists abstained, while the right of Citizens Popular Party voted against.
