In Major US Shift, Tillerson Says Assad’s Future Up To Syrian People
For the time being, the US is no longer seeking regime change in Syria.
However, this may change when Trump and Tillerson want to take out Iran and Hezbollah, two
key allies for Syria and Bashar al-Assad. Assad referred to the
bolstering of US troops in Syria as an invasion because they did not ask
for permission.
