Today, thousands of Yazidi men, women and children remain without homes
after a violent and devastating attack by the terrorist organization
known as the Islamic State in August 2014. Many children’s lives were
shattered when their families were killed or enslaved and their towns
were completely destroyed. This man-made disaster caused havoc on
humanity and left the Yazidi population of a half million displaced and
traumatized for life. We are launching this fundraiser in order to bring
hope and save lives.
