Canadian logging giant Resolute Forest Products is hosting its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 29, 2015.
Although
this is a very important day where company leaders and shareholders
will meet and review their plans, this is also our opportunity to ask
Resolute to make protecting the Boreal Forest and its communities,
peoples, and wildlife a priority for the upcoming year.
Why?
Because Resolute, the largest logging company in Canada, is cutting down
vast swathes of Canada’s magnificent Boreal forest, logging in critical
woodland caribou habitat, and doing so without the consent of impacted
Indigenous Peoples.
With your help, we can get the leaders of Resolute to ensure a healthy future for this globally important forest.
