Open Letter from Neturei Karta International in regard to the Iran Nuclear Agreement
July 14, 2015Jews true to the Torah from around the world convey their
congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Barack Obama, President of the
United States of America, His Excellency Mr. Hassan Rouhani, President
of the Islamic Republic of Iran and their representatives, upon the
historic Iran nuclear agreement, an initiative for helping bring the
world a step forward toward peace and harmony.
Although, according to the principles of the Torah, Jews
are not to meddle into political relations between nations, but peace
initiatives and peace pacts are to be celebrated and prayed for. It
falls under the Biblical commandment, "Seek the peace of the city to
which I have exiled you" (Jeremiah 29:7). Therefore Jews around the
world pray for the success of this splendid development, which paves the
way for peace between the United States of America and the Islamic
Republic of Iran.
May the Almighty grant success to all who seek justice and peace.
At this historic moment we must express the Jewish
concern and opposition to the negative comments on this subject coming
from the Zionist state. Jewish people true to the Torah continuously
voice their opposition to the Zionist State of Israel – which is clearly
forbidden according to the Torah and presently, to the current attempts
of its representatives to interfere in the striving of world leaders
for world peace. Also, the Torah True Jews condemn the pro-Israeli
abhorrent behavior toward President Obama.
May the Almighty bless this momentous peace initiative
with success, and may this be a catalyst for peace and harmony for all
humankind throughout the world.
Ultimately let us hope and pray for the day that we all
yearn for, when the Almighty will elevate the world spiritually, when
all humanity will recognize the kingdom of the Almighty, and all
humanity will join hands to serve Him in harmony. Let us pray to the
Almighty that He bring this about soon in our days. Amen.
