FREEDOM DENIED
An estimated 800,000 Palestinians in the occupied territories
have been detained under a set of over 1,600 Israeli military laws since
Israel’s occupation began in 1967. This figure makes up about 17.5
percent of the total Palestinian population in the area, and
approximately 40 percent of the total male population.
